Flood-related Shipping delays in British Columbia

As a result of extreme weather, flooding and mudslides, the situation in BC continues to evolve regarding deliveries, both to retail accounts as well as individual customers who have ordered titles directly from this site. For now, the following impacts have been communicated to us through our distributor and its transportation partners:

  • Current Shipments to Vancouver Island, Lower Mainland BC and Interior BC have been delayed. Individual shipment tracking numbers are the best way to determine status and impact as the situation on the ground is fluid.
  • Certain Areas within Interior BC are undeliverable until further notice. Please check individual tracking numbers for impacted areas.
  • Resumption of Domestic Service will depend on reopening of highways. While timelines are unknown at this point, it is expected that an estimate of reopening will be available for domestic transportation shortly.

We will update as we have information. In the meantime, the best source of information regarding delays will be found in individual tracking information as the situation can change dramatically within zones and communities. Should any customer need a tracking number, they can locate the number on their order confirmation email. If you are a customer in BC (excluding the interior), you are welcome to contact us directly if you need inventory for our front list titles.
