As of May 4, 2026, Jaguar will become the vendor of record (VOR) for Douglas & McIntyre in Canada. Sales representation will remain unchanged, with the Hornblower Group representing D&M to trade in Ontario, Quebec and the Atlantic Provinces, and Ampersand Inc. representing D&M to the trade in BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and the Territories.

→ Will my backorders be transferred?
Any orders placed at UTP prior to April 30 will be fulfilled by UTP if they have the inventory. Backorders for titles with an April release date will be fulfilled by UTP.
In the rare occurrence that UTP does not have the inventory for a specific title, please reorder from Jaguar, with the exception of frontlist books with a late-April release. (UTP will be fulfilling all backorders for upcoming titles as well as any new orders received before April 30). D&M will do our best to contact stores if an order needs to be resubmitted.
