Spindrift and Dirty Windshields shortlisted for BC Book Prizes

Congratulations to our authors who have been shortlisted for the BC Book Prizes Bill Duthie Booksellers’ Choice Award! Anita Hadley and Michael L. Hadley have been nominated for Spindrift: A Canadian Book of the Sea and Grant Lawrence for his book, Dirty Windshields: The Best and the Worst of the Smugglers Tour Diaries

The Bill Duthie Booksellers’ Choice Award is presented to the originating publisher and author(s) of the best book in terms of public appeal, initiative, design, production, and content. The 2018 nominees include Carleigh Baker for Bad Endings (Anvil Press), Pat Carney for On Island: Life Among the Coast Dwellers (TouchWood Editions) and Roy Henry Vickers and Robert Budd for Hello Humpback! (Harbour Publishing).

This year’s winners will be announced at the 34th Annual Lieutenant Governor’s BC Book Prizes Gala on Friday, May 4, 2018, at the Pinnacle Hotel Harbourfront in Vancouver.
