Ralph Milton, who calls himself a "seriously old geezer," has made a podcast to go along with his book, Well Aged: Making the Most of Your Platinum Years. The podcast (and the book) are primarily geared toward those who are old enough to remember those radio soap operas that were referred to as "broadcasts." Ralph was an actor in some of the worst of them.
Now, he's a newly minted podcaster.
Milton reflects on how to get the most out of those platinum years. He shares the good and the bad of being very elderly─the joy and the pain of it─because while old age comes with a load of crud, it also brings a barrel of blessings. This podcast will help the "truly old" tell stories and share insights and ideas to help deal with the crud and enjoy all the blessings.
Well Aged is not only for those in the old, old category, it is for their kids and the army of caregivers that come every day to, as Ralph says, "give us baths and help us dress and make sure we take our meds. They need to know what it's like to be old."
